While it's a cute premise, the results are the sort of game that you'd expect to be designed by elementary schoolers: cute and whimsical, but ultimately disposable. Game Shaker is a Nickelodeon series about a group of elementary schoolers who create their own video game studio, and in a clever tie-in to the series, Nickelodeon has gotten into the business of developing real world renditions of the games created by their imaginary studio.
OctoPie is as much a promotional product as it is a game in itself. OctoPie is a simple slingshot game with colorful design and a basic but addictive approach to game play, but its origins as a quick tie-in to an existing Nickelodeon series means that it's a game without much staying power.
